Rowher Flats OHV Area

Area Status: Open

Rowher Flat OHV: ‚ÄčOPEN Access is through Rush Canyon Road off Sierra Highway.

Open to motorcycles, ATV's, and 4-wheel drive vehicles. No stopping, unloading, or OHV riding is permitted on the Rush Canyon access road. There are three staging areas that include loading docks, picnic tables, trash receptacles and vault toilets. Spark arrestors, mufflers (4WD's), and a valid registration are required for all vehicles.

Ranger led OHV safety talks occur on most Sunday mornings at staging area one. A handout map of trails within the Rowher Flat OHV area are available at the District Office, or available on the ANF Website.

Operational Hours: Year round. Rowher Flats OHV Area may be closed at anytime due to inclement weather and poor road conditions. 
Fees: Adventure Pass Required $5/day or $30/year. Interagency Passes also accepted.
Open Season: Year round
Usage: Light-Medium
Restrictions: Fire Restrictions are in effect. All fires must be put completely out each night and before you leave the area.
Water: No
Restroom: Vault Toilet (5)
Passes: Adventure Pass/America the Beautiful Pass required.
