Dawson Saddle Trail
Angeles National Forest still closed until Feb. 1, 2025
The entire Angeles National Forest is temporarily closed through Friday, January 31, 2025, at 12:00 midnight (end of day) for public safety and the protection of natural resources.

Area Status: Temporarily Closed
The Dawson Saddle Trail is 1.8-miles-long. It begins at Dawson Saddle on Hwy 2 and ends at the Pacific Crest National Scenic Trail (commonly known as the PCT) near Throop Peak. The trail is designated for horseback-riding.
