Mount Bierstadt (#711)

Length: 3.6 miles ONE-WAY
Elevation: 11,471 feet - 14,063 feet
Trail Description: Begin at the Bierstadt Trailhead. From the parking area, the trail descends gently toward Scott Gomer Creek. At 11,470 feet, the trail crosses the creek and begins its ascent toward the summit. From the creek, the trail cimbs gradually through the willows then up onto the board northwest shoulder. Nearing the summit, the trail grows steeper and less well defined on the rocky ridge. Pick a route to stay on the rocks and avoid the vegetation growing in the pockets in between.
