Watrous Gulch Trail (#95)

A photo of a sign, including Watrous Gulch Trail, letting hikers know where trails will lead them.

Beginning in the trees, this trail climbs above treeline during the first mile. You pass through an area where timber was harvested along the Watrous Gulch Creek during the mid 19th century at the height of the mining days. Once above treeline, wildflowers surround the ground like a quilt.
