Lookout Mountain Trail (#934)

From the east, the Lookout Mountain Trail follows a jeep trail for a short distance west from Crystal Mountain Road then ascends steeply on a single-track, off-road vehicle trail for nearly 2½ miles to the junction with Lookout Mountain Summit Trail. The trail to the summit of Lookout Mountain gains another 400 feet in a half-mile ascent to a spectacular panoramic view. The main trail descends briefly westward to intersect the Donner Pass Trail (926) then continues about three miles west, passing the south end of Greer Road (forest road 154), and meets the Signal Mountain Trail.
