Horseshoe Lake Trail # 23


• This trail forks from the Kinney Creek Trail, 1/3 mile after reaching the Byers Peak Wilderness boundary. •Access via Kinney Creek Road NFSR 141 is temporarily closed due to hazard tree removal throughout much of the month of July. The first half of July one may hike to Horseshoe Lake from the Lake Evelyn trailhead. This trailhead will probably close later in July until those hazard trees are removed.

Usage: Light
Restrictions: • Do not camp within 100 feet of developed trails or bodies of water.• Pets must be under control at all times.• Group size is limited to 12 people and/or livestock.

Directions: • Take County Road 3, _ mile east of Parshall on Highway 40 or take County Road 15, 24 miles south of Kremmling on Highway 9.• Follow either to County Road 30 (NFSR 138). Follow County Road 30, 5 miles to Kinney Creek Road (NFSR 141). • Continue on NFSR
