Crow Valley Family Campground

Crow Valley Recreation Area family campground has ten sites.  Each single family site can accommodate up to eight people and each double site can accommodate up to 16 people. One RV or tents and campers can fit at each site.  There are picnic tables and fire rings at each site. Sites 1, 2, 3, 4 and 9 are reservable on Rec.gov. Sites 5, 6, 7, 8 and 10 are first-come, first served. If a site is not reserved 4 days in advance, it becomes available as first-come, first-served. Campfires and charcoal fires are allowed in the campground in designated fire rings and charcoal grills. Please note that flooding can temporarily close these sites, often in spring/early summer. Closest Towns: Briggsdale, 0.5 mi. east on Hwy 14; Ault 24 mi. west on Hwy 14; and Grover, 22.5 mi. north on CR 77 and east on CR 120.
Water: No Water.
Restroom: Vault toilet (wheelchair accessible).

General Information

Directions:

From Ault, head east on Highway 14 for 22 miles, turn north on Weld County Road 77, travel 1/4 mile to campground entrance on the west side of the road.


General Notes:

Maximum Vehicle Length: 35' on single units, 30' at the Lark group site.

Activities

Campground Camping

There are 7 single-family sites and 3 double sites (#4, #5, and #6). The fee for double sites is slightly more but affords a double-wide parking area.

Campsite #5 has a raised platform for easy access from wheelchair to tent.

Fees: $12 single non-electric site. $16 double non-electric site. Interagency Senior, Interagency Access, Golden Age and Golden Access passes provide cardholders half price for basic campground fees. Fees are half-price when water is off. Interagency Senior, Interagency Access, Golden Age and Golden Access passes provide cardholders half price for basic campground fees. Campsite fee includes use of the day-use area. Reservations are accepted up to 4 days prior to arrival. An additional $9 reservation fee applies.

RV Camping

RV camping is allowed at the Crow Valley Recreation Area campground. There are no water or electrical hookups. While there is electricity available at the Steward J. Adams Education Site, in the shelter, it is not for RV hookups. There is no dump station available at the campground.
