Bellaire Lake Campground

Bellaire Lake Campground is located in the lovely and popular Red Feather Lakes region. The campground is within walking distance of the lake via a wheelchair accessible boardwalk. The area is comprised of unique rock formations and views of the mountains.  Fishing is available at Bellaire Lake and nearby Dowdy and West Lakes. Each site contains a tent pad, fire grate and picnic table. All campsites with a tent pad have a bear locker. Single sites, double sites and triple sites are available. Electrical hookups are available at some sites.

Reservations:
Make your reservations at www.recreation.gov or by calling 1-877-444-6777 as early as 6 months in advance and at least 4 days prior to arrival. Reservations are accepted at all campsites.
Fees: Check detailed fee information on www.recreation.gov or see general fees on our campground table. Campsite fee includes use of the adjacent day-use fee area.
Usage: Heavy
Restrictions: A single site may hold up to eight people. Double and triple sites will accommodate more people. Tents must fit on the pads provided. RVs, trailers or other vehicles must fit on the parking spur because driving or parking off road is not permitted. The parking length ranges from 30 to 75 feet.

Water: Drinking water is usually available through late September.
Restroom: Flush and Vault Toilets

General Information

Directions: Drive 21 miles north of Fort Collins on U.S. Highway 287. Turn left (west) onto Red Feather Lakes Road (County Road 74E). Drive 24 miles to County Road 162. Turn left (south) and travel roughly 2.5 miles to the campground entrance, located on the west side of the road.
