Mountain Park Picnic Site

Nestled in a ponderosa pine forest next to the scenic Cache La Poudre River, this is a very popular day-use area for enjoying a picnic and associated river activities. There are 11 sites available, each with picnic table and pedestal grill. The facility also includes a restroom and drinking water. There is access to the Mt. McConnel Trail from the picnic ground for a hiking opportunity. A day-use fee is required.
