Laramie River Road is closed in the winter and is heavily used by snowmobiles. Ski or snowshoe 1.5 miles north along Laramie River Road to the Green Ridge Trailhead, located on your right at the top of a hill. The trail (also used by snowmobiles) passes Lost, Laramie and Twin Lakes as it winds through the trees and old timber cuts. Views to the west are excellent.
