Green Ridge and Lost Lake trails and roads turn into winter cross-country and snowshoeing trails. When County Road 103 is closed for the season, park at the junction of Colorado Highway 14 and the Laramie River Road (Larimer County Road 103). Laramie River Road is closed in the winter and is heavily used by snowmobiles. Ski or snowshoe 1.5 miles north along Laramie River Road to the Green Ridge Trailhead, located on your right at the top of a hill. The trail (also used by snowmobiles) passes Lost, Laramie and Twin Lakes as it winds through the trees and old timber cuts. Views to the west are excellent. This trail eventually ends at the Deadman Road west of Red Feather Lakes. Green Ridge and Lost Lake parking area accommodates approximately 7 vehicles.
