McIntyre (#966)
The McIntyre Trail promptly enters the Rawah Wilderness and begins with a mile-long traverse to McIntyre Creek before beginning a 4-mile ascent to an area known as Housmer Park and the beginning of the McIntyre Creek Trail. The McIntyre Trail continues about 5 miles northward to meet the Shipman Park Trail (#974), which descends to the northeast corner of the wilderness and terminates on private land. McIntyre then ends where it meets the Medicine Bow Trail (#965) at Ute Pass on the Medicine Bow Divide. The Shipman Park Trail begins just before Ute Pass and descends in a northeast direction into Shipman Park, which is a large open valley.
Access is from the Link-McIntyre trailhead that accommodates approximately 20 vehicles and 5 designated trailer spaces. The trailhead is located off of Larimer County Road 130, which in turn accesses off of Laramie River Road (County Road 103), and is just west of Browns Park campground.

General Information
Directions: Travel 11 miles northwest of Fort Collins on U.S. Highway 287 to Colorado Highway 14. Turn left on CO 14, and travel 52 miles to County Road 103, Laramie River Road. Turn right and travel north about 16 miles to County Road 80C, Glendevey Road. Turn left and travel about 3 miles to the Link and McIntyre trailhead parking on the left just past the Browns Park Campground and across the creek.Activities
