Jenny Creek Trail

Jenny Creek Trail begins at the Jenny Creek Trailhead, just outside of Eldora Mountain Resort's private parking lot. This trail crosses private land and is not open for use when Eldora Mountain Resort is closed to the public. Access in the summer is only available from the Rollins Pass Road.

The trail skirts the ski area's nordic center, climbing to a low saddle. From here, two segments of Jenny Creek Trail diverge. The lower, alternate route drops south into Jenny Creek valley and then climbs west up the drainage (watch for public access signs). The other continues climbing along the ridge, swinging to the south and then west along the 9,800-foot contour, finally gradually losing elevation until it reaches Jenny Creek, where it rejoins the other segment of trail.

Jenny Creek Trail heads west up the drainage, soon intersecting Guinn Mountain Winter Trail, which splits off to the north to the Colorado Mountain Club's Arestua Hut. The Jenny Creek Trail keeps climbing, finally reaching Yankee Doodle Lake on the Rollins Pass Road.
