Basin Canyon Campground and Picnic Area

The Basin Canyon Campground is a small undeveloped campground near the Boulder River. There are two camping units at this campground. The maximum recommended trailer length for the area is 16 feet. There are day use picnic areas and toilets.

There is some interesting geology in the area as well with Indian Head Rock nearby.

Directions:

From I-15 take exit #156 to Basin. Take Forest Road 1723/Basin Creek Road North for approximately 3 miles to the campground.

Campground Camping

There are two undeveloped campsites. There is no drinking water available so please plan accordingly. There is no garbage service at this campground so please pack out what you pack in.

RV Camping

The campground can accommodate trailers up to 16 feet in length. There are no hookups available.

River and Stream Fishing

There are fishing opportunities nearby in the Boulder River approximately 3 miles south of the campground.

Picnicking
