This is a nice place for outdoor enthusiasts. The campground is located in a lodgepole pine stand and few Douglas Fir covered area with Steel Creek flowing through.
From Wisdom go north for 1/4 mile to Steel Creek Road and continue for 9 miles to the campground.

There is a 16 day stay limit at this campground.
There are 7 camping units and 2 with tent pads in the campground. The road is dirt and rutted in places.

The campground is a trail portal into the West Pioneer Mountains.
There is a stock use area with 2 camp units with fire grates only, a loading ramp, hitch rails, and feed bunks.
