Sula Fish Lake Trail # 420

  

The Sula Fish Lake trail # 420 forks off of the Chain of Lakes Trail #39 approximately 3.5 miles in. This trail consist of the 1 mile portion between #39 and #420 and Fish Lake. The trail's grade ranges from 5 to 18 percent and it follows a dozer line that was constructed during the Sleeping Child Fire in 1961.

General Information

Directions: From Sula, MT head northwest 0.2 miles on Highway 93. Turn northeast (right) onto East Fork Rd. (county road #472), go approximately 16.5 miles until reaching the Moose Creek/Martin Creek junction. Turn West (left) on Road #726 and travel 4 miles to the trailhead. From the trailhead travel approximately 3.5 miles on the Chain of Lakes Trail #39 to the intersection of #39 and #421, then take the Fish Lake Trail #420.
