Lost Trail Pass Ski Area Ski Area Alpine

Lost Trail Powder Mountain is a privately owned ski area operating under permit on national forest lands. It sits on top of the Continental Divide on Highway 93 where Montana and Idaho meet. Snow fall usually ranges around 300” a season and over 40 trails are serviced by 5 double chair lifts. The summit of Saddle Mountain is the highest point at 8200 feet which allows for 1800 feet of vertical drop within the area. Mixed terrain varies and the level of difficulty among the trails is split fairly even which allows something for every difficulty level. Area amenities include a day lodge, snow sports school, and a full rental shop.
