DirectionsTo access the Sheridan South Picnic Area from Rapid City, travel southwest on County Road 228, Sheridan Lake Road, for approxiamtely 15 miles to US Highway 385. Turn left or south onto 385, and travel 1 1/2 miles to the inlet at Calumet road. Turn east or left onto Calumet Road.
