Wrinkled Rock Climbing Area
The Wrinkled Rock Climbers Trailhead provides parking for Mount Rushmore area rock climbing opportunities. Climbing information, climbers bivy sites and a toilet facility are available. Wrinkled Rock has several free tent pad sites for first come, fire served but a 14 day stay limit is enforced. The Wrinkled Rock-climbing area can be accessed from the trailhead.
Climbing the Mount Rushmore sculpture is prohibited. There are many climbing opportunities in the park on other rock formations. A climbing brochure is available in the Information Center and at the Lincoln Borglum Museum.
