Campbell Creek Trail

View of Cascade Lake near Campbell Creek Trail

The Campbell Creek Trail offers views of Cascade, the reservoir and the surrounding mountains to the east.

From the trailhead, the first mile and a half of trail is blocked by fallen trees and crosses four forest service roads.

From the trailhead, the Campbell Creek trail steeply ascends a ridge, then levels and enters a meadow, where Cascade and the reservoir can be seen to the east.

About 1.5 miles from the trailhead, the trail reaches Stewards Meadow which offers a view of  West Mountain Ridge.

From the meadow, the trail becomes steep and rocky, but continues to offer outstanding views. The last quarter mile of the trail parallels a small stream up a sharp incline and terminates at the top of the ridge at a unsigned junction with the Wilson Creek trail.

From the ridge, Raft Lake and Skein Lake can be seen to the south.
