Periodic Spring Picnic Site
Two picnic tables and a vault toilet along Swift Creek offer a rest for people after their trip to watch Periodic Spring pulse. An easy 3/4 mile hike brings visitors to see one of only 3 cold-water 'geysers' in the world. The spring turns on and off in 18-minute cycles. Interpretation of this phenomenon is also provided.
