Irish Canyon Snowmobile Trailhead

This winter time parking lot provides access to the southern end of the Continental Divide Snowmobile Trail. It is 16 miles east of Boulder, just off of a plowed road. Bear in mind the trail is ungroomed to Blutcher Creek Safety Shelter.

Permit Info: Resident and non-resident user fees are required by Wyoming State Law. These annual user fee revenues are used by the Snowmobile Trails Fund for trail grooming and maintenace.

General Information


From the Town of Pinedale, Wyoming, head south on United States Highway 191 (US-191) for about 12 miles, then turn left on Wyoming State Highway 353 (WY-353) and drive approximately 15.5 miles where WY-353 transitions into Big Sandy-Elkhorn Road/Country Road 118. Continue for another 2.2 miles and Irish Canyon Snowmobile Trailhead on the left of the road.
