Trail Highlights:
- The trail begins by heading up the drainage, climbing a few steep sections through open sage brush. It continues to climb until reaching an open ridge about 1.5 miles up.
- The trail then turns and heads up the ridge, offering spectacular views of the Snake River Canyon. It continues on the ridge tops, winding through a mixture of pine forest and sagebrush until reaching a large upper saddle where it meets up with the East Table Cr Trail.
Options
- From this trail you access the East Table Cr Trail, which runs along the flanks of Wolf Mountain and over to the Wolf Mountain Trail, and the Red Pass area.
- A loop can be done with the East Table Cr Trail by either leaving a shuttle at either trailhead, or walking back on the highway.

General Information
Directions:
From Jackson, take US 189 south to Hoback Junction and bear right over the bridge. Continue down the canyon, past Cottonwood Work Station and Pritchard Pond on your right. The road winds along the river for a few miles and you will see East Table Trailhead on your right which is signed. The next entrance on the right is signed as Station Cr Campground. Take a right here and park over by the bathroom. You will see the trail taking off from the parking lot.
