Length: (Motorized Use) 2.16 miles from jct with Slate Cr Trail #4215 to Motorized Trail End. (Non-Motorized Use) 1.23 miles between Motorized Trail End to Buffalo Ranger District boundary at jct of closed road #30240.
Elevation: 7,480 ft at jct with Slate Cr Trail, 7,930 ft at Motorized Trail End
Open to: Motorized Use allowed between jct with Slate Cr Trail #4215 east to Motorized Trail End, entire trail open to Hikers and Equestrian.
Trail Highlights:
- This trail begins at the jct with Slate Cr motorized trail #4215 and heads easterly through open meadows and timber accessing popular hunting camps in a remote area of the Mount Leidy Highlands. The trail junctions are signed and the trail reaches a barrier fence at the end of the motorized use section. Motorized use is open between July 1 and November 30. Hikers and equestrian can continue northeast to a jct with closed road #30240 near the South Fork of Spread Creek on the Buffalo Ranger District.
Options:
- This trail has two access points. There are additional loop options off of this trail as it is a spur connector with the Slate Creek Motorized Trail System. This trail also accesses another motorized trail #4215D that terminates north at a high viewpoint of the Slate Creek Valley.

- The area where this trail exists is prime Grizzly Bear habitat.
- This trail is located on USGS quad maps for Mount Leidy and Green Mountain, 7.5 minute.
