Trail Highlights:
- The trail begins at the signed junction on the Willow Cr Trail and the Shepard Cr Cutoff Trail. The trail heads down and crosses the creek at a difficult spot. Take caution with stock as the crossing gets washed out and steep. The trail crosses the creek, goes through a small boggy area, and climbs up the hill near a large campsite.
- From here the trail follows the creek up through thick timber for about 2 miles until reaching an unsigned junction with the Grayback Parallel Trail. A small post was installed in 2012 but the junction is not signed.
Options:
- This trail basically serves as a connection between the main Willow Cr Trail and the Grayback Parallel Trail. You can also access the Lick Cr Trail higher up.
