Deer Lake Campground

Deer Lake campground is located at 59829 Eagle Nest Road Deer River, MN, 20 miles northwest of Deer River off Highway 46, four miles west on Eagle Nest Road (FR 2198). The campground is located on the west shore of Cut Foot Sioux Lake and split into two separate loops. North Deer Lake has 17 sites; South Deer Lake has 31. A boat ramp is located between the loops and provides access via Biauswah Creek. A designated swimming beach is located at North Deer. | Site Map

Campground Camping
The Deer Lake campground, located on the west shore of Cut Foot Sioux Lake, is split into two separate loops. North Deer Lake Campground has 17 campsites, while South Deer Lake has 31 campsites. A boat ramp is centrally located between the two loops and provides access to Cut Foot Sioux via Biauswah Creek. Cut Foot Sioux is known for it's excellent walleye fishing. There is a sandy beach located in North Deer, with a smaller beach at South Deer. The Cut Foot Sioux Trail runs along the campground's edge and provides access to the Simpson Creek Trail System.
