Eastwood Campground is located in a mature hardwood forest along the eastern shore of the Mondeaux Flowage. Located near the camgpround are a variety of commercial services including canoe and boat rentals, showers, and some food and firewood sales at the Mondeaux Dam Lodge.There is no long term or day use parking for visitors entering the Ice Age National Scenic Trail within the campground. Trash collection is not provided within the campground, please pack out your own garbage. A dumpster and RV dump station is available at the Mondeaux Dam Lodge (dumping fees apply).

ALERT: During the temporary closure of the Mondeaux Dam Lodge, the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest has issued a temporary special use permit for a vendor to continue offering visitors basic camping supplies and snacks on the property.  The Mondeaux Dam Snack Shack will officially open for business on Saturday May 6th.  Specifics on snack shacks business hours and offers can be found at http://www.mdsnackshack.com/. Fees Individual campsite fee is $12, or $6 with the use of an Interagency pass (access, military or senior). The interagency pass applies only to the fee for the campsite physically occupied by the pass holder, not to any additional fees or campsite(s) occupied by members of the pass holder's party.
Restrictions: Operation of all ATVs & UTVs are prohibited in campground   Firewood Closure Order
Our firewood closure order prohibits the possession, storage, or transport of any firewood that originates from more than 25 miles from your campsite. Firewood certified by the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Transportation and Consumer Protection can orginate from more than 25 miles from National Forest destination. Both certified firewood and Kiln-dried, untreated/unpainted/unstained/construction/dimensional lumber that is free of any metal or foreign substance is approved. Pallet boards are not approved.

General Information

Directions: Travel north from Medford on State Highway 13 for about 15 miles. Then turn left (west) on county trunk highway D for 6.5 miles, then turn left (south) on Forest Road 104 for 1.5 miles. Turn left (south) at Forest Road 104 and travel 0.5 miles to the campground entrance.
