Pine Lake Campground

This campground is located along the west shore of one of the largest lakes within the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest. The 1,667-acre Pine Lake is a favorite of anglers. If you are looking for northern pike, bass, walleye, or panfish, this is the place! Twelve wooded campsites, a nice sandy beach, and a picnic area complete the setting. Passes: The USDA Forest Service honors all four Interagency Recreation Passes that may be applied at National Park Service, Bureau of Land Management, Bureau of Reclamation and U.S. Fish and Wildlife sites charging recreation use fees. Visit to decide which pass is right for you.

General Information


• From the intersection of Highway 32 and FR 2186 just south of Hiles, drive west on FR 2186 for 0.5 mile to FR 2185. Turn left onto FR 2185 and drive 1.3 miles to the campground entrance.
