Summer Skyride

Long after the skiers and snowboarders have left the slopes of the San Francisco Peaks, the Arizona Snowbowl springs back to life as the wheels start turning once again on its main ski lift. This ski lift turned Sky Ride provides the quickest and easiest way to get to the highest point in Arizona accessible by land based motorized travel. The triple chair takes you to the upper slopes of Agassiz Peak at 11,500 feet. Here, above tree line, you can see the Grand Canyon's North Rim over 80 miles away. The view of the dormant volcano field surrounding Flagstaff is striking as well, with Kendrick Peak, Wild Bill Hill and Wing Mountain standing out as prominent landmarks.
