Upper Wolf System


Area Status: Open

The Upper Wolf Trail System provides 2.5 miles of non-motorized looped trails for hikers, mountain bikers, cross-country skiers and snowshoers.  During the spring and early summer, users will find many species of wildflowers scattered throughout the area.  This area is open for day use only from sunrise to sunset.  Trailhead parking and an information board are located on the west side of Laurelhurst Drive.

General Information

Directions:

The Upper Wolf Trail System is located on the north edge of the city of Newport. At the intersection of State Highway 20 and Larch Street turn west and follow Larch Street for one block to Laurelhurst Drive. Continue on Laurelhurst Drive to trailhead.
