Swan Lake Campground
Swan Lake Campground is located in a beautiful mixed pine setting approximately 14 miles south and west of Republic, Washington. Access to the campground is via State Route 21 and paved Forest Road 53 (Scatter Creek). The campground 26 campsites with a mix of back-in and pull-through sites that will accommodate everything from the smallest tent to the largest RV. The lakeshore loop will accommodate up to moderate size trailers and RVs and all provide lakeshore views. The non-lakeshore loop include all of the campground's pull-through sites. Each site is accessed by a paved road, but most parking spurs are gravel. Campsites include a table and fire ring and easy access to bear-resistant garbage containers, pressurized water spigots, and outhouses. There are four walk-in tent sites that sit on a bench above the lake. The campground includes a swim beach with swim dock, a fishing dock, a boat launch with additional boat trailer parking, and a small day-use picnic area with four tables. Swan Lake Loop trail can be accessed on either the north or south ends of the lake and provide access to good fishing and swimming holes. The campground also provides access to the Swan Lake Kitchen Group Campsite. Local wildlife include deer, moose, squirrels, chipmunks, loons, eagles, osprey and a variety of song birds. Huckleberry picking is popular from late June through July.

Directions:From Republic, WA: Head south on N Clark Ave toward E 6th St for 0.6 miles. Turn right onto WA-21 S/S Clark Ave continue to follow WA-21 S 6.8 miles. Turn right onto NF-53 for 7.3 miles. Slight left at Old Scatter Creek Rd for 0.2 miles. Destination will be on the right.

- Lower loop accesses the 4 walk-in sites, and 9 back-in campsites. These sites have shorter, smaller parking spurs, and tend to be more sloped camping areas, but are closer to the lake.
- Upper 12 campsites are generally larger and flatter spaces, with all but 3 having pull-through spurs for larger vehicles and trailer combinations (up to 31 feet).
