Swan Lake Campground


Area Status: Open

Some campsites in this campground are private and most have a view of the lake. It is also the site of the historic Swan Lake Kitchen.

Restrictions: Washington state fishing license required. See Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife at http://wdfw.wa.gov/ for more information. Use of lead weights or lead jigs that measure 1.5 inches or less along the longest axis is prohibited. Internal combustion motors prohibited.
  • Quiet hours between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m.
  • Campfire in developed fire ring only        
  • Fireworks are prohibited
  • Pets must be on leash       
  • OHV use prohibited in the campground          
  • Maximum length of stay: 14 days       
  • No lead weights in lake
  • Food and wildlife attractants must be properly stored at all times

General Information

Directions:

From Republic, WA:  Head south on N Clark Ave toward E 6th St for 0.6 miles.  Turn right onto WA-21 S/S Clark Ave continue to follow WA-21 S 6.8 miles.  Turn right onto NF-53 for 7.3 miles.  Slight left at Old Scatter Creek Rd for 0.2 miles.  Destination will be on the right.

  • This campground is divided into 2 loops.
  • Lower loop accesses the 4 walk-in sites, and 9 back-in campsites.  These sites have shorter, smaller parking spurs, and tend to be more sloped camping areas, but are closer to the lake.
  • Upper 12 campsites are generally larger and flatter spaces, with all but 3 having pull-through spurs for larger vehicles and trailer combinations (up to 31 feet).
