Mill Pond Campground

This lies along Sullivan Creek and offers great opportunities for hiking on a looped trail system and connects to Mill Pond Historic Site. The Sullivan Creek Trail #565 connects the campground with the Mill Pond Flume Trail #520, Floodplain Trail #523, Elk Creek Trail #560, and Mill Pond Historic Site.

Directions:From Metaline Falls, WA: Head northeast on Grandview St toward International Selkirk Loop N/Lehigh Ave. Turn right onto WA-31 N/International Selkirk Loop N/Lehigh Ave for 2.1 miles. Turn right onto Sullivan Lake Rd for 3.9 miles.

Viewing Wildlife
- Variety of wildlife ranging from common whitetail deer to endangered woodland caribou and threatened grizzly bear.
- Hall Mountain which borders the east side of the lake is home to a bighorn sheep herd.
- Other species of interest are moose, elk, mountain lion, black bear, gray wolf, bald eagle and other bird species.

- Deep valleys contain Cedar-Hemlock forests while high ridges offer Whitebark Pine and other alpine plants.

- Spectacular views of the Selkirk Mountains.

- Mill Pond Historic Site which details local history is located one mile north of the campground.
