Edds Mountain #3

This difficult 7.0 mile trail has wonderful views of the surrounding mountains  as well as abundant wildlife. During the spring and summer one can marvel in the wildflowers growing along this south facing slope trail. This trail connects you with the Kettle Crest National Recreation trail  #13 Vistas of Kettle Crest and the Kettle River Valley.  This trail connects to Kettle Crest South Trail #13.  Trail traverses open tallis slope, look for rock cairns in this section.

Directions:

From Republic, WA: Head south on N Clark Ave toward E 6th St 0.6 miles. N Clark Ave turns slightly left and becomes WA-20 E/Sherman Pass Scenic Byway continue for 6.9 miles. Turn right onto Hall Creek Rd/NF-2015 continue for 4.3 miles. Turn left onto Edds Mountain Rd/NF-300 continue for 1.5 miles. Turn right onto Edds Mountain Rd to trailhead.
