Upper Wolf Trailhead


Area Status: Open

The Upper Wolf Trailhead provides opportunities for cross-country skiers, snowshoers, mountain bikers and hikers. These are non-motorized trails. The trail system winds through a mixed conifer forest. During the spring and early summer, users will find many species of wildflowers scattered throughout the area. This area is open for day use only from sunrise to sunset. There is an information board on the west side of Laurelhurst Drive.

General Information

Directions:

The Upper Wolf Trail System is located on the north edge of the city of Newport. At the intersection of State Highway 20 and Larch Street turn west and follow Larch Street for one block to Laurelhurst Drive. Continue on Laurelhurst Drive to trailhead.
