Andrews Cove Recreation Area in White County offers a cool mountain stream and a peaceful atmosphere, and is only 15 minutes from the popular alpine village of Helen, Georgia.

Restrictions: | The maximum length of stay is 14 days. No UTV's, ATV's or Golf carts allowed in the campground or on Forest Service Roads. After the camper(s) has accumulated 14 days within any 30-day time period, the camper(s) must leave that area/campground and move from Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forest land for 30 days before returning for another stay. |

Water: | Drinking water is provided from a centralized hand pump. |

Passes: | The America the Beautiful Interagency Senior and Access Passes also the Golden Age and Golden Access Passports are accepted. These passes entitle the pass holder to a 50% discount on camping fees. Please write your pass number on the fee envelope to get credit for this discount. |

It is convenienly located off of Hwy 75, approximately 15 minutes north of Helen, Georgia.
From Helen, GA, take State Rt. 17/75 north for 5.5 miles to
campground sign. Turn right into campground.
Directions:
Take GA 75N from Helen for 5 miles. Turn Rt. at Andrews Cove Recreation Recreation Area. Parking is ahead on Rt.

Day Hiking
The Andrews Cove Trail follows an old logging road parallel to Andrews Creek. This trail is 2 miles long and provides access to the Appalachian Trail and Forest Service Road 283 at Indian Grave Gap.
