Jake and Bull Mountain Trail System
The Jake and Bull Mountain Trail System provides approximately 36 miles of recreational trails for equestrians, bicyclists and hikers. The Jake Mountain Trail System and Bull Mountain Trail System connect to form a complex system of scenic trails within a four square mile area of the Chattahoochee National Forest's Blue Ridge Ranger District. This area is located in western Lumpkin County, less than ten minutes from downtown Dahlonega. The system is made up of interconnecting dirt trails and gravel roads which are accessed by two trailheads.

Jake Mountain Trailhead - From Dahlonega, GA, go west on State Rd 52 for approximately 8 miles. Turn right onto Nimblewill Church Rd and proceed straight for approximately 2 miles. The trailhead is on the right.
Bull Mountain Trailhead - From Dahlonega, GA, go west on State Rd 52 for approximately 8 miles. Turn right onto Nimblewill Church Rd and proceed straight for approximately 2.5 miles. Turn right onto Forest Development Rd 28-1. Turn left onto Forest Development Road 83 and proceed straight for approximately 1 mile. The trailhead is located at the end of the road.
