Proctor Road Dispersed Camping
Located at 4,500 feet in elevation amid desert grassland and oak woodland, this dirt road offers access to established dispersed camping sites. All sites are first come, first served. There is a 14-day stay limit per 60-day period. Please use existing sites only. There are no restrooms or trash cans. Please pack out all of your waste. Proctor Road provides access to Elephant Head Mountain Bike #930.
High-clearance required. 4WD recommended. Creek crossing may be impassable after rain.

DirectionsFrom Tucson, Arizona, travel south on I-19 for approximately 35 miles to the Continental Road exit (Exit 63) in Green Valley, Arizona. Turn left (east) on Continental Road and go approximately 1 mile to the junction with the Madera Canyon/White House Canyon Road. Turn right (southwest) and travel
approximately 11 miles to the entrance of the Madera Canyon Recreation Area. The turnoff to Proctor Road is just past Proctor Picnic Area on the right.
