Cherry Springs Nature Area

This 2.0-mile nature trail is paved and accessible.  Users will enjoy numerous species of wildflowers, trees, and grass as they walk this route.  The route is shaded.  Mink Creek runs through this area. Dogs are welcome but must be leashed and please pick up after your pets.

Directions:

From the Bannock Highway south of Pocatello, turn SW onto the Mink Creek Road.  Cherry Springs Nature Trail is located approximately 3 miles down the Mink Creek Road, on your right.

Just a short distance from Pocatello, the Cherry Springs Nature Area has thick green vegetation, an abundance of birds and viewing other wildlife. Take a picnic and a camera and head out on the trail. There are picnic tables along the trail. This area is for day use only.
