McCoy Creek Campground
The McCoy Creek Campground is located on the south end of the Palisades Reservoir. From Alpine, WY, take Highway 89 south to Salt River - McCoy Road #087, go west approximately 6 miles to the campground. There is a primitive boat ramp at the campground and it is possible to launch small watercraft; rafts, kayaks and canoes at high water levels. McCoy Creek and Palisades Reservoir offers great fishing. There is very limited shade in the campground. All sites have a gravel surface. There are 17 single units, first come/first served. The campground host is not on site, but checks the campground regularly. Water and vault toilets are available. There is no trash service at the campground, so all garbage must be packed out with you. Firewood may be available for sale at the campground.
No Fee after fall closure.

Lake and Pond Fishing
There is a primitive boat ramp that will allow access to the Palisades Reservoir. Fish for Trout, Kokanee and Mackinaw.
River and Stream Fishing
McCoy Creek, Salt River and the South Fork of the Snake River (Hoback) are all just minutes away from the McCoy Creek Campground and offer great fishing.
Big Game Hunting
McCoy Creek Campground sits on Big Game Unit 66 and borders unit 66A and 67. The campground is utilized in the fall for hunting purposes.
