McCrea Bridge Campground

McCrea Bridge Campground is located on the backwaters of beautiful Island Park Reservoir in Island Park, Idaho at an elevation of 6,200 feet. A mixed growth lodgepole pine forest provides partial shade and summer wildflowers are abundant. Island Park Reservoir offers boating, waterskiing, fishing, kayaking, and boat ramps.

General Information
Directions:From West Yellowstone, Montana, take Highway 20 south for 27 miles, turn right (west) at the Elk Creek Service Station, travel 2 miles to the campground entrance.
General Notes:
Island Park Reservoir was created by an earthfilled dam built in 1938. The dam is 91 feet high and 1250 feet long. Various species of fish abound in the reservoir. The reservoir provides boating, fishing, and water skiing opportunities.
