Parkside Trail (# 103)

  

Parkside National Recreation Trail (# 103) is 2.3 miles long. The trail begins at Parkside Campground and ends at M-K Campground passing through pine forests and open meadows of Rock Creek Canyon. Elevation change: 200 feet. The trail is open for the following uses: hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, and cross country skiing.

  • Greenough Campground to Greenough Lake:                0.2 miles

Access for this trail can be gained from Parkside Campground (near the group sites), from Greenough Campground (trail is at back of campground and has limited parking), or from M-K Campground.

Directions from Beartooth Ranger District to Parkside Campground:
Drive south on US Hwy 212, towards Cooke City, for 10.7 miles. Turn right onto the Main Fork Rd (Forest Road 2421) and drive 0.4 mile to the entrance to Parkside Campground.
