Panoramic View Trail #528
Panoramic View Trail #528, located on Stearns District, of the Daniel Boone National Forest, begins at the Panoramic Trailhead parking lot and traverses out the ridgeline to the northeast, terminating at a scenic overlook. A second scenic overlook is located about halfway out and off to the right of this trail. This relatively easy trail is located just off Day Ridge Road (McCreary County 927), past the Natural Arch Scenic Area. The trail passes through a heath family dominated landscape and includes a couple of panoramic views of what is locally known as the “Gulf.”
