Koomer Ridge Campground features semi-primitive camping in a tranquil forest setting. The campground provides access to trails in the Red River Gorge. This campground is located in the Red River Gorge on Cumberland District of the Daniel Boone National Forest.

Traveling east on the Mountain Parkway, take exit 33 at Slade. Turn left and then right onto KY 15. This campground is 5 miles on the left.
Site 46 in the tent area is accessible. The bathhouse and toilets are accessible. The parking area at the bathhouse is accessible.
Sites are available on a first-come, first-serve basis with no reservations accepted.
Check-in instructions are on the bulletin board at the entrance. Campers can stay a maximum of 14 days without special permission.
Parking is available at the campground for campers staying at the Koomer Ridge Campground.
Parking for backpackers and hikers is allowed at Koomer Ridge, but only at the trailhead parking lot.
