Duff Branch Trail is located near Grove Boat-In Campground on Laurel River Lake. Laurel River Lake is located on London Ranger District and features 5,600 acres of clear, deep water and nearly 200 miles of tree-lined shore.

Duff Branch Trail is the hiking route into Grove Boat-In Campground. The trail takes off from C-Loop parking area in Grove Campground and leads to a ridgetop which offers a good view of Laurel River Lake. In May, mountain laurel puts on a great display.

Grove Boat-In Campground, a US Fee Area, is located on a wooded ridge above Laurel River Lake. Grove Marina is a full-service marina located within 1/2-mile of the campground. The marina is open year round.

General Information

Directions:

From I-75, take exit 25 and travel west on US 25 for 5 miles. Turn right on KY 1193. Go 2 miles. Turn right on Forest Service Road 558. Go 3 miles to the Grove Recreation Area.

This trail does not meet accessibility standards for persons with disabilities.

Parking is available at Grove Campground, April to November.
