Sheltowee Trace Section 26 Laurel Lake of the Sheltowee Trace National Recreation Trail, located on London Ranger District, begins at Cane Creek and ends at the Mouth of Laurel.

Cane Creek is a popular fishing stream and destination for day hikers. Rock ledges along the creek provide scenic places to stop for a rest or to have lunch. Van Hook Falls is a 10-minute walk just north of the creek. The falls are at their best following the spring rains.

Trailheads: KY 192, Holly Bay Campground and Marina, Laurel River Dam, and Mouth of Laurel Boat Ramp
