Section 32 Sheltowee Trace Trail #100

Area Status: Open

Section 32 of Sheltowee Trace National Recreation Trail begins at the National Park Service boundary near Big Creek, following the creek downstream to the Big South Fork River. Notice the mature beech trees and overhanging cliffs above the trail. Be careful of your footing as you weave around large boulders on your way.

This trail section ends at the junction of Yahoo Arch Trail #602. Both Yahoo Arch and Yahoo Falls are worth the short hike to see.

This section of the Sheltowee Trace passes through the Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area, which is managed by the National Park Service.
