Little Crater Campground

Area Status: Closed

Little Crater Campground has 49 campsites located on or within a minute walk to the water. The sites are ample sized and most are good for both tents or RV and trailers. There is an RV dump station near the entry of Paulina Lake Campground.

Current Conditions:	2023 Season - The Forest Service conducts in-depth hazard tree inspections of developed recreation facilities on a regular interval. Little Crater Campground will close on September 24, 2023, to provide time to conduct inspections and remove identified hazard trees. Closing this facility a few weeks early this fall will minimize impacts to opening dates in spring 2024.
Operational Hours:	Visit Recreation.gov for current operating dates and to make a reservation. This campground will be closing at noon on October 1, 2023, and the last night to reserve a campsite is September 30, 2023.
Reservations:	Reservations can be made online at Recreation.gov or by calling toll free 1-877-444-6777 (International 606-515-6777 or TDD 877-833-6777).
Fees:	Single Campsite Rate: $23/night One vehicle included with reservation – Each Additional Vehicle: $10.00 NOTE: Holders of a Golden Age and Golden Access Passports and Senior and Access Passes are entitled to the following discounts on expanded amenity recreation fees: - A 50 percent discount on the fee for a single camping unit. This discount does not apply to use of a cabin, lookout, double camping unit, triple camping unit, group camping unit, extra vehicle fees, or any additional camping units and separately charged utility, water, hook-up or day use fees. Restrictions:	Maximum site spur length is 30 feet. The water system will be turned on in the month of May depending on weather conditions and will be turned off no later than September 30, 2023, or upon the campground closing, whichever is earlier, to prevent potential damage from cold temperatures.
