Mountain Biking
The upper end of this trail can be snow-covered until mid-summer, blocking options for loop returns. Cyclists are advised that this busy trail is open to uphill traffic only, to reduce conflicts with hikers. After snow has melted, bikers can enjoy a variety of loop returns, including Forest Roads 370 & 4601, or the Metolius-Windigo Trail, Flagline Trail after August 15, Flagline Access, Swampy-Dutchman Trail, Swampy Lakes Trail, and South Fork Trail. Farewell Trail will bring you right back to Tumalo Falls, or Mrazek will take you down into Shevlin Park and Bend.

Day Hiking
Once snow has melted, hikers without dogs can make a loop return via the Swampy Lakes Trail, Bridge Creek Trail, and/or South Fork Trail. Dogs and bikes are prohibited on these return trails where they pass through the Bend Municipal Watershed.
