Tumalo Falls Day Use Area
This very popular site offers beautiful views of Tumalo Falls just a few minutes from the trailhead. There are areas for picnicking and access to hiking and mountain biking trails.
The North Fork Trail is UPHILL ONLY for mountain bikes.
Recreation Fee Site: Parking at this site requires a recreation pass. Passes are available at this site, but can also be purchased from Forest Service offices or vendors. Please check here for more information about recreation passes and where they can be purchased.
Trails that leave from this site are: North Fork Trail, Bridge Creek Trail, Tumalo Creek Trail, and Farewell Trail.

Directions:From Bend, OR: Travel 11.6 miles west on Skyliner's Road (4601), then 2.6 miles west on Forest Road 4603.

Tumalo Falls is 97 feet tall and is an impressive landmark on the Deschutes National Forest. It is a few minutes hike to the overlook at the top of the falls. Continuing the trail up the creek will bring you to numerous, smaller waterfalls that easily compete with the beauty of Tumalo Falls.
