From the Corral Swamp trailhead to the Winopee Lake Trail #16, this trail passes through old growth forest near Corral Swamp and Corral Lakes and offers excellent opportunities for wildlife viewing and solitude.

Wilderness Permits are required for both day use and overnight stays from Memorial Day Weekend until Oct. 31. Free permits are self-issued at the trailhead.
Directions: Trail begins from Forest Road 4632 at Corral Swamp Trailhead, located off Century Drive between Lava and Cultus Lakes, 23 miles west of Sunriver.

This trail provides access to the Metolius-Windigo Horse Trail #99 and the Three Sisters Wilderness. This trail is sometimes not cleared of heavy blowdown, so it is best to inquire before planning a trip. Early season mosquitoes can be hungry.
